We all know that the holidays can be a stressful time of year. S.H.A.R.E. strives to make this time of year a little easier for those in need by providing food, clothing, toys and other necessities. Here we teach the “Pay It Forward” principle and try to help families understand what the concept means.
Teaching random acts of kindness is a simple way to start; and by giving families concrete examples that cost them nothing monetarily but mean everything emotionally teaches the true meaning of the season. This program not only teaches the recipients/applicants but donors and their children. We have families who “adopt” S.H.A.R.E. angels every year and this has become a holiday tradition to many local families.
